Choosing Payment Types

When adding inventory in TablelistPro, you can determine the Payment Type you'd like the customer to use. Your options are:

  • Prepaid Full: The customer will pay the full amount upfront, including tax and service charge
  • Prepaid Deposit: The customer will pay a portion of the full amount upfront (the deposit), without tax or service charge. The remaining balance, plus tax and service charge, will be collected at your venue
  • Authorization: The customer will not pay upfront, but they will be required to provide a credit card upfront to ensure it's valid. The full balance, plus tax and service charge, will be collected at your venue
  • No Payment: The customer will not pay upfront and will not be required to provide a valid credit card upfront. The full balance, plus tax and service charge, will be collected at your venue

Even if you are not taking advanced payments, we strongly suggest using the Authorization payment type to ensure your customer has a valid credit card.
