RESERVATIONS & TICKETING

Creating & Sending a Payment Link on Mobile

2min

Instead of using a credit card authorization form to collect payments, opt for a TablelistPro payment link. These give you the option to request a full deposit, pre-payment, or credit card to be held securely on file, reducing "no-shows" by 99% and protecting your business against chargebacks.

Payment links are especially useful for customers who submitted reservation requests, as well as customers who would like to purchase multiple tables at once.

To create a payment link for a reservation that is not already in the system, first Add a Reservation on Mobile.

Once the reservation is saved and added to the Reservations tab, click to open the reservation you would like to send a payment link to. From there:

  1. Click the three black dots on the right, choose Request Payment, and fill out all of the information including name, description, payment type and amount, etc.
  2. Hit Create to get your payment link
  3. To email or text the link to the customer, either copy the link and manually send it to the customer, or click "Share Link" and send it via text, email, etc.

Once the payment link is generated, a yellow Pending tag will appear on the customer's reservation. When they pay, it will become a green Auth button for credit card authorizations, a green Deposit button for deposits, or a green Paid button for full pre-payments.
